The white, gray and black male padded silently through the brush, not even looking where he stepped just picking silent places automatically. His warm golden eyes shone and no one would be able to tell that he was nearly blind. This was odd because he had been completely blind but it seemed that recently, a week or so ago, he regained some vision in his left eye. Now, he knew he was treading on another's land without permission but really, he didn't very well care. Romke was young, full of attitude, and had the lean, strong, and quick form to match it. He was only three or four or so but no one would really ever find out, because he never spoke about himself with others. It sounded too self-confident to him to speak of himself to others. So, he didn't.
His long, thin legs picked carefully through the underbrush and as he passed the clearly marked border, he didn't even stop to howl his presence. He emerged from the treeline and stopped, looking out at the magnificant white beach that lay before him. Never had he seen a beach in wolf's territory unless they were right on the ocean. And here dear Romke didn't think that they were anywhere near the coast or any large body of water. He s8ighed. Wrong again.
Romke's stomach growled and he stepped quietly into the water, barely splashing at all. A fish swam in front of him and he lunged but missed. Then he stopped and stood still, letting the waters calm and for the fish to release their fear of this strange object that had intruded into hte water. One swam too close and Romke snapped it up as quick as he could. A nice meal for him. Fish was more of his thing but he hadn't had it since he left his old pack that lived on the west coast. But his old pack was not to be remembered ... that could have dire consequences.

Frost trotted along the Black Pearl Coast, icy blue eyes scanning the beach. Up ahead her spotted a new brute with white, gray, and black fur. Standing tall, Frost made his way over, large paws leaving indents in the gravel. The mascu's cream colored pelt swayed as he trotted. He had come alone, leaving his sister to deal with other matters.
"Greetings stranger."he tipped his head."I am called Frost, welcome to Sapphire Islands. May I ask who you are and why you have come?"he questioned, stepping closer to Romke.

The average male looked up his, his golden orange tinged optics twinkling in the sudden flash of light from the sky. He smirked and this 'Frost' approached him and asked him who he was. Romke just stood there, watching the brute deafly, as if he hadn't understood him. Romke tilted his head to the side and blinked, still appearing as if he had not understood. But then he spoke, slowly as if trying to figure out how to say it in his language.
"Are you the Alpha?" he spoke in a harsh, low tone, his fur standing slightly. What a great act. But he did indeed speak in a foreign language but he knew this wolf's tongue quite well. His black tufted ears swiveled and he sat back onto his haunches.

A frown was now plastered on Frost's maw. Was this mascu trying to by arrogant? Frost was trying not to loose his temper. Then his icy blue eyes met the orangey eyes of Romke. Something struck him as strange.
"No."Frost began, his vioce low and rash"No, I am not the Alpha. My sister is the Alphess here. but I ask again, who are you and why are you here?"he wasn't so polite this time. That is when windsong showed up. The albino cougar had appeared out of thin air, walking on silent cougar paws. His pink eyes flashed brilliantly.
"Now Frost, do not be so harsh. Did you ever think that there are other languages? Perhaps he doesn't speak this language."a sly grin was on the old cougar's face. "Then I guess this is your area of expertise?"Frost snarrled, wondering how long the cougar had been there.

Romke paid no attention as the albino blind cougar approached. He just sat there, holding his gaze with Frost's in a steady, unwavering glare. Arrogant? Is that was this brute thought he was? Yes, arrogant was quite clear in the brute's mind. Of course, Romke's orange eyes read it through Frost's but that was all he gathered. Nothing more. He could not gather any more than one thing at a time and he could barely do that.
"Well, if you are not the Alphess, why do I need to speak with you?" he asked again in his slow, drone-ish voice, still speaking as if he was foreign. And the cougar's tongue was not familiar with his ears so he paid no mind at all.

Frost snarrled"Listen! I may not be thew Alpha, but I am higher ranking then-"he was cut off. A sharp pain was at the back of Frost's head. Windsong had smaked him.
"Enough of this you brute. Go off and tell Sakura we have a visitor."he let out a sigh.
Frost growled, but knew he was no match. with a final snarl he turned, tail swaying as he trotted off to find his sister.
"Please do forgive Frost's attitude. He's rather cold to strangers."Windsong gave a small smile.
Ooc-writer's block...I have it bad 'cause of my stupid cold....

Romke sat there, his smirk so evident he thought that he might get smacked as he watched the male wolf get swatted by this cougar. But he growled and stopped smirking, watching Frost with a cold, unwavering glare.
"Am I to sit here and wait?" he asked in his foreign way, his head tilted to the side somewhat and his orangey eyes dancing. He dragged a claw through the dirt and frowned as he watched the two.
And how could this cougar speak wolf language? He looked at them, his eyes slitted, as Frost trotted off to find the Alphess, the only on that Romke would accept and reveal his information to.

Windsong let out a sigh"Please follow us. We'll find Sakura soon enough. If I'm correct she's returned to Moonlight Mountain."he laughed, flicking his tail back and forth. The albino cougar yawned and trotted after Frost, who had a head start.
"I garentee(sp?) you won't have to wait long to meet the Alphess."he chuckled, looking back at Romke.

Romke followed, trotting over the lands at a smooth gait, his average build not making out to be anything spectacular, just another wolf. But his eyes ...
Why were they that orange color? No one ever asked but sure. And of course he had a slight sight problem with one of his eyes but that didn't affect their color ... so what had?
He had been told to follow them and he did, trotting slowly and looking around at his surroundings, soaking it in and trying to get a bearing on where he currently was and where he was headed. Someplace called Moonlight Mountain. 'How original,' he thought in a sarcastic tone but said nothing as his orange eyes wandered the area around him but them returned every now and then to the two leaders to make sure he was still following them.
